For sardines space is no problem (2009)
Sulatron Records
2008 was a really creative year when we recorded two albums witch both was released 2009. The first was The world, the flesh and the devil and the second was this one. It started out with a request from Sulatron Records for us to record a spacerock album. We thought it was a fun idea and since we was highly influenced by from spacerock at the time and wanted to use our own studio more we gladly accepted the offer. During this time the Swedish astronaut Christer Fuglesang had made history by becoming the first Swede in space, so what could be better then making a spacerock theme album about him?
It was a really fun album to create and we got help from a lot of friends and musicians and pushed our studio over all bounderies it had. We are really proud of the result and could never imagine it to turn out this good.
The album was released simultaneously with Christer Fuglesangs second journey to space and since he actually loved the album, he brought it with him!
So we are probably the only spacerock band who has actually been played in space.
